For over 20 years Mark has worked as a client advocate, managing customer relations teams and credit departments for Telstra, local water authority Wannon Water and Provincial Credit Solutions.
The past 6 years has seen Mark focus on ensuring Great Southern Credit Management’s client needs remain at the forefront of all our actions. He constantly analyses our processes to uncover continuous improvement opportunities for our clients’ direct benefit, and also assumes group corporate governance responsibilities.
Mark was promoted to the position of Managing Director of Great Southern Credit Management P/L on 1 July 2014, and is also a Director of GSCM Legal P/L.
Mark is also a member of the Australian Institute of Credit Management.
Carl gained significant industry related experience working for 10 years in the Business Banking sector of major Australian banks, including secondments to an Asset Management (impaired loans) division, and, the development of in-house debt collection software.
He entered the debt collection industry in 2000 as a Regional Branch Manager in Geelong before becoming the Sales Manager for the entire Vic country region for a large multi-national debt collection group.
Carl founded Barwon Credit Management Pty Ltd in 2005 and is now a Director of both Great Southern Credit Management P/L and GSCM Legal P/L. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a major in Law, and has significant experience in training organisations on credit management best practice.
